Staying warm is all about keeping your core warm and nothing does that better than a down vest. The women's Electron Pro Vest is filled with 100g of 800fp, hydrophobic, European goose down. Hydrophobic means that even if the down gets wet, it will still maintain it's loft and keep you warm.
The vest can be worn as a stand alone outer on crisp dry days, or as part of a layering system on colder, wetter days - and we all know that winter can be full of those.
The outer is made using Pertex Quantum Pro which is a 30D water resistant ripstop fabric. bear in mind it is water resistant, not waterproof although even if it was the arm holes would put pay to that! The zips are strong YKK zips on the pockets and on the pockets and the two side pockets are positioned in such a way that you can use a harness and still get to them.
Whether you are using this vest for mountaineering, climbing, or just into town, you'll be sure to stay nice and cosy.
