Do you want a 100% waterproof jacket that is breathable has lots of pockets, and doesn't sound like a packet of crisps like a Gore-tex shell does? If so, this amazing waterproof jacket might well be the one for you.
A firm favourite amongst our wildlife lovers and photographer customers, the Halkon 360 jacket can blend in to nature quietly and with loads of pockets too (14 in all, internally and externally) for camera equipment, binoculars or snacks.
The hood on this jacket has a strong wire peak and is fully adjustable from the top and from the sides. When the rain stops it can be neatly folded away into it's fleece lined collar.
Ventilation comes from two underarm pit zips that can be opened to allow air flow, but still keep you dry. The front zip is also a two way zip which means you can open it from the bottom for venting, or for when you need to climb over logs and styles.
The breathability of the Halkon is outstanding too. Standard waterproof jackets dissipate 20% of your bodies moisture where as the Halkon gets rid of 80%. That's a huge difference. The clever waterproof Anology outer fabric is reinforced on areas where wear is more likely, for example on the shoulders and arms.
All you have to do to look after this superb jacket it is wash and reproof it periodically with Nikwax Tech Wash and TX Direct. Nothing more, nothing less. Simple.
