If you are looking for a classic, good quality mid range waking boot, then the women's Nova IV GTX from Mammut is for you. One of Mammut's biggest selling boots, the Nova has had a makeover for this season.
With a Gore-tex membrane, these popular women's walking boots are 100% waterproof and breathable too. The outer fabric is made using Terracare bluesign certified nubuck leather. Not only does this make these boots durable, but also means that the leather is ethically sourced and uses recycled materials where possible.
The soles are flexible, quality Vibram and as well as offering great grip, there is a good degree of flex with them too.
Fitting wise the women's Nova tends to suite a narrower foot, rather than a wide one. So if you have worn Scarpa in the past, then they are a more similar fit to them, rather than a make like Meindl, which have a wider toe box. That said, everyone's foot shape is unique, so this is more of a guide rather than absolute fact.
