If you are in the market for an inexpensive but good quality waterproof jacket, then the men's Santiago jacket form Sprayway is definitely worth considering. Ideal for walking the dog, wearing around town, or weekend walks the Santiago jacket is 100% waterproof thanks to it's 2 layer Hydrodry 70D taslan polyester fabric.
The jacket also has a mesh and taffeta lining for added comfort and insulation and there is an inside zip that is compatible with either the Sprayway Santiago fleece, or Sprayway Gifford fleece. This gives you the option to zip in the fleece for the winter period for extra warmth. This is where the I.A. comes in (inter active).
The hood is wired for better vision and is fully adjustable as you would expect and the front zip is a two way zip which means you can open it from the bottom if you need to climb over something like a stile etc.
All in all a fabulous jacket at a great price point too.
