The Paramo Velez Evolution Hybrid Smock is designed for the serious outdoor enthusiast. We sell a lot of these fabulous smocks to Mountain Leaders and Outdoor Pursuit specialists. Why? because this smock is a game changer when it comes to breathability, waterproofing and ventilation. If you need to stay dry every day as part of your job, or hobby, you will want a piece of clothing you can trust 100%.
Ventilation is what this smock is all about. The two zips down the sides can be opened from the top or bottom and there are two under arm zips too. The sleeves are easy to push up too, so when the going gets tough and you get hot, you have many options of how to cool down whilst staying dry.
The smock is rucksack and harness compatible so whether your hiking or climbing, you can be sure the Velez will work for you. The hood is helmet compatible and has a stiff peak to aid clear vision in the worst of weather.
All of the above and this smock is also 100% waterproof thanks to Paramo's Nikwax Anology technology. This clever fabric is also directional too which means it gets rid of water quickly and efficiently leaving the water less time to settle.
There is a large drop pocket on the front of the smock which can be easily accessed from the top and has a large dual entry side hand warmer pocket to keep your hands nice and cosy.
