One of Paramo's and one of our biggest selling quality waterproof jackets, the Alta III is a classic looking, functional waterproof coat that is just as home walking the dog as it is hiking up in the hills.
Long in the body and slightly longer around the back, the Alta III is designed to be worn in the worst of wet weather conditions. The hood is fully adjustable, both in volume and in width and has a strong wire peak to aid vision when the rain pours. The Alta also has six pockets - two on the waist which are hand warming pockets, two on the chest which will fit an OS Map and two internal for storing valuables.
Made using Nikwax Analogy Waterproof fabric, the Alta is more than just breathable, it is directional. This means it is capable of moving liquid water away from your body and not just water vapour. It's also 100% waterproof too, and doesn't have a membrane to ever brake down either, so you can be confident when the rain starts to pour.

A directional Mesh Pump Liner®reinforces the shoulder and back panels, preventing water ingress in heavy rain and when load carrying, whilst maximizing airflow.
Ergonomic panel placement provides excellent shoulder / arm articulation and prevents the jacket riding up.
