A superb 35 litre rucksack, the Protium 35 from Rab is a close fitting, technical pack that is ideal for long treks in the hills or a day in the mountains. It has a moulded, pre-curved ABS back panel for optimum fit, and this can be tailored further with an adjustable back length of between 48cm-53cm.
As this rucksack is designed for trekking and hill walking, there are two walking pole attachment loops on the outside that you can store your walking poles when not in use. Should the rain start to fall, the bag also has a waterproof rain cover stored in the bottom that can be stretched over the front of the bag to help keep it dry.
The Rab Protium 35 has internal and external lid pockets which enables you to retrieve frequently used items quickly and efficiently. There is also an internal security pocket, ideal for your valuables.
The hip belt has an easy to use forward pull for quick and easy adjustment and there are even zipped hip belt pockets, ideal for snacks, or perhaps your compass.
finally there are large stretch mesh front and side pockets, handy locations for stashing gear you need to get to quickly. All of the above and this great bag only weighs 1.15kg. What's not to like?
