In our opinion, one of the best mountaineering and winter walking trousers on the market. The Rab men's Torque VR Pant has so much to offer the outdoor enthusiast including a Matrix stretch double weave outer fabric that stretches when you do making them ideal for challenging climbs - It also makes them more comfortable on a day to day basis too.
The outer fabric is treated fluorocarbon free DWR which gives the trouser fantastic water repellency. Please note they are not waterproof, so if the forecast looks like set in, all day heavy rain, you'll still need to pack your over trousers.
There are also 'zoned' linings to optimise warmth and to help encourage faster wicking, and quicker drying and there are zips on the bottom of the leg so if required you can get them on, or off without having to take your boots off.
All in all the Torque VR pant is an active trouser for the active outdoor enthusiast. Just at home in the mountains, hill or weekend trails. It's no wonder that most of the staff here at BCH Camping own a pair.
