The men's Rab Glaceon Pro Jacket is a fabulous, packable down jacket, that is ideal for mountaineering, climbing, hiking or for just looking good in during the winter months. It's recycled, 700 fill power down filling will ensure that you stay warm and cosy and it's also hydrophobic treated too, which means that even if it gets wet, it won't clag together, instead it maintains it's loft and keeps on keeping you warm.
The outer fabric is made from recycled Pertex Quantum Pro fabric which is a treated, ripstop 30 denier fabric. This gives the Quantum great water resistant qualities, but please be aware that it is just that; water resistant. It will be fine in a quick, light shower, but anything more than that and you will need a waterproof shell in your back pack.
The Jacket has a helmet compatible hood as you would expect from clothing designed with mountaineering in mind. It is also full adjustable and has a peak on the front too. There is a clever cuff adjustment too that enables you to achieve the best fit when wearing with gloves. All zips are robust YKK on the main front and on the two side pockets.
So whether you are heading off to the mountains, or heading off to the park to watch the kids play sport at the weekend, you can be sure to stay warm and cosy in this great winter down jacket.
