The ever popular women's Cirrus Alpine jacket from Rab has enjoyed a makeover this season. This latest reincarnation of this fantastic Rab winter jacket is made using 100% recycled polyester prima loft silver rise filling and now has wider baffles too, this means it traps even more air and therefore provides even greater warmth.
Ideal as an outer layer on crisp mornings, the Cirrus is compact enough to be used as part of a layering system too on freezing Alpine days. The outer material is Pertex Quantum Pro which uses a really thin layering of waterproofing which enables the Cirrus to have really good water repellencey. It is worth pointing out that this jacket is not 100% waterproof, so if the forecast looks like heavy rain, make sure you have your shell with you.
The Cirrus benefits from having two concealed hand pockets with YKK zips on the sides and has an internal security chest pocket, also with a YKK zip, ideal for valuables. The hood as you would expect is fully adjustable and has a stiffened peak to aid vision.
