The Rupal Jacket form Mountain Equipment is one of the best all round waterproof jackets on the market in our opinion. If you want a top end Gore-Tex jacket that is a 'one jacket does all', then this is the one for you.
Ideal for everything from commuting to work, to mountaineering and everything in between. The fabric is a tough 75 denier with three layer Gore-tex. That's 100% waterproof and very breathable. As you would expect from this type of jacket the hood is helmet compatible and fully adjustable so you can get it just right for your needs.
Under each arm you have pit zips which allow you to open when the going gets tough and you start to overheat, providing well needed ventilation. Talking of the arms they are pre shaped so that if you are using it for scrambling, or mountaineering then the arms don't ride up keeping you protected at all times.
