Very few items of outdoor clothing become legends in their own right whilst still in production. The men's Lightline Jacket from Mountain Equipment is one of the those legendary jackets.
Filled with a 700 fill power of pure duck down, the Lightline is not only extremely warm, but also very light too. The outer is a 40 denier Drilite fabric which is 100% windproof and highly water resistant too. Please note that this jacket is not waterproof, but will take a quick shower or light drizzle. If heavy prolonged rain is forecast, then you will still need to pack your waterproof.
The fully adjustable hood has a really good peak to it to aid visibility and can be zipped off completely when not required. There are pockets a plenty on this great down jacket. Two hand warmer pockets on either side of the waist, and one internal security pocket for your phone, or wallet.
So whether you need to stay warm whilst mountaineering, or stood on the side lines watching your kids play sport at the weekend, the Legend that is the Mountain Equipment Lightline jacket is the one for you.
