Vango Cove III Air Mid

Brand new and updated for 2025, The Vango Cove III Air Mid (as the name suggests) is now in it's third generation. Ideal for motorhome and van conversion owners who are looking for added space without the hassle of a full awning. The Cove III Air Mid can be used as a living space, extra storage, or because of the sewn in ground sheet, could be used as a sleeping area for when you have guests staying. The Cove III also benefits from having a good sized canopy on the front which helps protect the door from the elements, but also provides a lovely place to sit and watch goings on on a sunny afternoon. Perhaps drink in hand? The Awning also faces the same way as your van, so you'll be looking out over the campsite rather into your neighbours van.

So what's new, well first and maybe most important the outer fabric is now tougher and of a higher quality. The material is now Vango's Sentinel Active fabric which has a thick denier of 150d and a whopping hydrostatic head of 4000mm. With colourlok technology you can rest assured that the colour wont fade in the sun either. 

The front and side doors have mesh inners, so you can have breeze flowing through whilst keeping flys and bugs outside. As this is the 'Air' model you'll be pleased to know that the Cove III Air takes just minutes to put up. 10 in fact. Simply peg out the corners, insert the hand pump and away you go. The hand pump comes with a pressure dial so you don't need to worry about over inflating. This awning is a free standing awning hence the drive away feature. You can attach it to your van with a drive away kit and when you want to go off for the day, simply slide it out and roll away the tunnel. Once you are back from exploring, unroll and reattach. It really is that simple. It also means that you have a solid base to come back to each day. 

This is Vango's biggest selling awning and for very good reason. It's also worth noting that despite the improvements, the price hasn't increased massively, making this awning superb value for money.
