The Xenair Alpine Jacket form Rab is a fully synthetic, insulated, alpine jacket that is ideal for activities such as mountaineering, ski touring and alpine climbing.
The outer is made using 20D Pertex Quantum Air fabric which is lightweight and incredibly breathable. It also offers great water repellencey too, ideal for snow and light rain showers. Please note however, the Xenair is not fully waterproof.
The warm insulation comes from Primaloft Active Gold+. This fully synthetic fill which is 55% recycled, is thicker around the front, back sides, outer arms and hood and thinner around the spine, sides and underarms. This allows the Xenair to be worn underneath a waterproof shell should it be required.
The jacket has great features such as a fully adjustable hood with a decent peak and as you would expect form a Alpine jacket - helmet compatible. All zips are top of the range YKK. These can be found on the front main zip, the two concealed hand pockets and the two concealed chest pockets. All in all, this is a great technical jacket, but also one that looks great on too.
