The 2025 Apex Compact 200 from Vango is a high quality, lightweight tent. Perfect for cycle touring, back packing, Duke of Edinburgh Awards or mountaineering, this top end tent will sleep up to two adults.
The Apex 200 is outer pitch first which means you won't get the inner wet should you have to put it up in the rain. You can even leave the inner in when you pack it away making it even easier and quicker to put up next time.
This tent is all about being lightweight yet strong, so you can be confident when the weather turns. The flysheet is made from Vango's Protex 70 denier Eco Ripstop fabric which is created using recycled single use plastic. This environmentally friendly fabric has a hydrostatic head rating of 3000mm ensuring 100% waterproofing.
The inner tent has a bathtub style groundsheet which has a height of 10cm meaning full protection from the weather. The groundsheet has a hydrostatic head of a massive 6000mm.
Inside the tent you have Vango's unique tension band system which are straps that you can tighten when the wind picks up to increase the tents stability. These straps can be stored away neatly when not in use.
All in all the Apex 200 is a superb, lightweight tent with a small pack size to match.
