The clue is in the title. There is very good reason why Telta's fantastic awning is called the 'Scenic' Air 490 and it's because the whole clever design is all about making the most of your surroundings and letting light and the view pour in.
The Scenic Air 490 Awning has it's doors either end of the awning (on the sides), which means the front area is dedicated to just having large windows ensuring that you have unlimited crystal clear views of your surroundings. The windows on all Telta models including this one are tinted PVC which means you can enjoy the view without the glare, or heat of the sun. This large front window can also be rolled down to improve airflow, or zipped out completely on those warm, summer days. There are obviously curtains too for added privacy when you require it.
The other unique design achievement of this top end awning, is the fact that it is a whopping 300cm deep. That, along with the apex roof design (which aids run off from rain water) means you have a really large living area. This again adds to the overall feeling of space and size. Plenty of room for your furniture. Effectively 490cm x 300cm.
As with all Telta's awnings this is a one size fits all when it comes to using it with either a caravan, or motorhome. This is because Telta have designed a multizip adjustment system which allows you to have an adjustable fitting height of between 235cm and 280cm which will fit the vast majority of motorhomes and caravans on the UK market. If you change your caravan for a motorhome, or vice versa, then at least you won't have to change your awning.
The fabric of this amazing awning is also worth a mention because it's Telta's ground breaking UV resistant Teltex fabric, this fabric offers the breathability of polycotton at a fraction of the weight and cost. Enjoy hassle-free transportation and a wider range of accessibility for all to enjoy.
The whole awning can be inflated easily from just one inflation point and with the pump provided can be erected in just 12 minutes. The Scenic 490 has multiple deflation points too, which means taking the awning down and packing it away is a doddle.
