Speed hiking and trekking with the Merrell Moab Women’s Speed Altitude shoe

This is very much the case with the Merrell Moab Women’s Speed Altitude shoe. Here, Merrell have come up with a hybrid design that ticks many hiking boxes.
This season’s Moab Speed GTX Altitude walking shoe is a hybrid upgrade on the original design with the addition of a Vibram Traction lug outsole.
Vibram traction ensures a multi-directional grip on varied terrain. The 4mm lugs (indentations) dig deep into the ground when braking and changing direction, anchoring the foot into wet and muddy ground.
For added defence against rough terrain, the shoe also has a padded collar to protect the ankles, and a protective toe cap.
