The Buffalo Mountain Shirt

For many of our BCH Camping customers, the Buffalo Mountain Shirt needs no introduction, but in the style of your average chat show host, we’re introducing it to you anyway!

We have stocked the Buffalo Mountain Shirt for over thirty years, during which time Buffalo Systems have continuously tested it in the most hostile conditions. It is one of our biggest selling winter garments, ideal for winter hill walking, trekking, winter climbing and general outdoor activities.

• The Buffalo Mountain Shirt can be worn against the skin where it works most efficiently, or on top of a wicking t-shirt.
• The shirt is 10cm longer at the back than the front for optimal protection against the elements.
• There are storm baffles on the neck and side zips with touch-and-close adjustment tabs and a touch-and-close attachment on the collar for a compatible hood (sold separately).
• A hand warmer pocket, large front map pocket and a rucksack hip belt that can be fastened through the hand warmer pocket are all convenient features that make the wearer’s life so much easier in difficult weather conditions.
• Ordering the correct size is important. The shirt should be close fitting without being restrictive.

Technical features of the Buffalo Mountain Shirt

• The Buffalo Mountain Shirt has a 50 mph windproof Pertex® Quantum shell, which has a tightly woven structure that allows insulation to fully loft, while trapping air to improve insulation efficiency. It also has a water repellent finish.
• AquaTherm pile lining keeps you warm, even when taking part in water sports, and because it is lightweight it offers great freedom of movement.
• The shirt weighs 730g (size 44)
